Oneness is not just an abstract belief beyond the material world. Oneness is the tangible, experiential integration and balance of all dualistic extremes inherent in material existence. Duality is the natural state of the world we live in. Wild animals, plants and ecosystems flow with these extremes and naturally keep them in balance and harmony, at one with Universal Mind through instinct. By contrast, the human mind has split itself and its identity in opposition and war, within and without. The dualistic extremes of our ego, which sees all as separate from itself, is what we identify the whole of our beings with, tearing ourselves apart from the inside out.

Oneness can be experienced in the common human emotional well of our core, where our tears become our laughter. Oneness is sometimes momentarily experienced during feelings of extreme joy, when we suddenly see the big picture of our life as if it is happening to someone else. Oneness is in the still, quiet witnessing space beyond our mind that we attempt to cultivate in meditation, which watches and notices all that we do without judgment or personal identification. Oneness is cultivated through the process of learning to identify our beings with this inner witness through all experienced phenomena, not with our personal actions or inactions. (Praise or blame…it’s all the same.)

We may learn to watch what our ego born and bound self does with fascination and perhaps even amusement, noticing the consequences of our choices, positive and negative. Then, as we choose with conscious awareness and take responsibility for the results of our choices, we learn a valuable lesson of our power of creation whatever the consequence. We have made this choice in full awareness of our ego’s patterns, and so we get to know it much better as we consciously stumble, and are able to more completely avoid the pitfalls next time. Eventually, we even learn to love and thank the ego for doing its job of keeping us individuals with separate defining, experiences and release it with gratitude as we expand our identity into the One Infinite Consciousness of Divine Intelligence. We know who we *really* are, and so we may not feel so stuck in identifying with one extreme of the continuum of life or the other. For, since all we put out is returned to us in all dimensions, as we watch the Divine play in it’s unfolding within us, we *will* ultimately, naturally choose the path of surrendering the separate ego to the One Spirit. Why? Because the Universal Mind of Spirit is more intelligent and beneficial to us, personally and collectively. Period. It is our destiny to learn to see, not through a divided mind, but all through the oneness of our heart, learning to act with Love from this knowing place within us. We will then physically and metaphysically bring peace to earth with our collective Christ consciousness…we are the ones we’ve been waiting for!

This process is Universal, and the common ground of all our Dear Family connecting in these healing tribes. Where is a place all healers and seekers may meet on common ground? Right here. This is the core process and life purpose of us all. It is a crucial foundation we lay in order to wield our new Spiritual powers with integrity, individually and collectively. We offer each other support and inspiration as we move beyond the egoic paradigm of right and wrong, beyond the war paradigm of good and evil, beyond duality. All subject matters may be discussed from this emotional/mental/Spiritual framework, to ask and share how to build a bridge between being judgmental and accepting, subservient and rebellious, wounded and whole, insecure and confident, flighty and grounded, between blame and praise, trying and being, confusion and clarity, indecision and conviction, fear and love, anger and forgiveness, sorrow and joy, reason and passion, control and surrender, evil and good, war and peace, and on and on…

PS…I *highly* recommend Ekhart Tolle’s book: A New Earth: Awakening toYour Life’s Purpose, as an excellent resource for defining the ego, and identifying its tricks. Simply by virtue of noticing the ego at work, your witnessing consciousness, (your true identity beyond mind), is strengthened.
