*VENDORS* Please read the entire tribe description BEFORE posting.
A tribe for dancers, collectors, artists and jewelry enthusiasts who love tribal jewelry. A space to discuss all aspects of tribal jewelry, its origin, symbolism, content, use, design, procurement, care, and anything else pertaining to rich and varied personal adornment from the world over.
*VENDORS*
NO SALES OR PROMOTIONAL POSTS IN THE THREADS. Any promotional posts placed in discussion threads will be DELETED without notice. If someone specifically asks for an item, feel free to let them know that you have the item they are looking for. But please keep posts in this regard to a minimum and TO THE SPECIFIC ITEM REQUESTED. This tribe is not designed as an advertisement and is not a flea market. There are many tribes where you are free to advertise your wares. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM. Postings advertising your specific items or for your business in general are welcome in the LISTINGS section of this tribe.
It isn't my intention to suppress all vendor information or posts, but for various reasons I have found that rules have unfortunately become necessary. The intent of this tribe is not to be a market place, but rather to share information and ideas about tribal adornment. A few specifics are outlined below for further clarification.
Vendors are free to:
1. Answer specific questions about their items or their business posed by other members.
2. Let other members know that they have a specific item that that person is looking for and point them to their web sites or give other contact information for THAT SPECIFIC ITEM by making a MINIMUM of posts in that regard. In most cases ONE post should suffice.
3. Post a LISTING for their business in the listings section of this tribe.
4. Post photos of their items that are not overtly self-promoting or designed to sell a specific item.
Vendors may NOT:
1. Post new threads specifically to promote their business or their item(s).
2. Make repeated posts in a thread pointing members to their businesses. In this case 'repeated' means more than are necessary to answer questions or convey needed information.
3. Post photos for the express purpose of promoting their business or to sell their items.
4. Make any other unsolicited postings specifically designed as advertisement for their business.
Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.
